  • A right kick in the ******

Usually after a defeat I go and have a couple of pints and sit and stew for a while and end up arguing with my wife who keeps on about how bad we were but the following morning I am usually over the result and looking forward to the next game

Yesterday was somehow very different and felt like a real kick in the balls and I am still not over it this morning as I just feel we desparately need some new blood in the squad and very quickly

I have not missed a single game home or away this season and should of course be use to getting bad results by now but really feel deflated

When we booked our plane tickets for the Newcastle game I was really looking forward to the weekend and although I will be more up for it nearer the date at the moment if it was tomorrow it would be a chore to go rather then a pleasure

Anyone got any good QPR news to cheer me up?

I'm the same Isleworth, missed very few games this season, but for some reason this defeat seems to have made a big difference. I think its partly because we don't have a chance to make amends for 2 weeks and also that we were so in control and it was the perfect opportunity to get our season on track.

Up until yesterday I've been very positive of our chances of staying up, struggling to be so optimistic now.

I know how you feel Isleworth, I couldn't sleep and still feel sick about it. We all know we shouldn't let it get to us, but sometimes you really feel such a sense of injustice that you can't get over it.

I feel for Wolves too. How the fk did Lampard and Cole not get sent off?

If these things even themselves out then they'd better start doing so...and pronto.

I hate that football cliche that they even themselves out - they do not. How could they?

Usually bigger teams, with bigger home crowds and bigger star names and aggressive managers get far more decisions. UtD didn't concede a penalty at home for about 8 seasons IIRC. They do not even themselves out as there is no such thing as luck.

The good news Iselworth is that we are still fighting and we should make some signings. Bircham said yesterday that we are expecting 3 in Jan, I don't know if that included Macheda.

If the signings are good they will lift the whole club IMHO.

No he hasn't... as explained on here in another thread. On Twitter you have limited characters and he has continued a message over two tweets!

id take 17th (at the start of the season and now) but the way its been going i cant see us maintaining 17th
And no more bullsh1t about ladyluck etc,,,you make your own luck , it wasnt bad luck that made us drop points from certain games this season it was poor tactics, poor players and simply not being good enough.
Money needs to be spent and the RIGHT players have to brought in.

Still feel absolutely gutted about yesterday's result. I can really see where Isleworth is coming from. A really depressed 2 hour train journey home yesterday and we didn't even stay around the Bush for a beer afterwards.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I'm the same. I've still got steam coming out of my ears. I've never been so vocal at a game, and when some Norwich fans in C block went up when the winner went in I gave them a right mouthful. Just as well I managed to get on the Cental line berfore any of those gloating inbred c*nts got on, otherwise I would have got myself into trouble.
Normally I can take the **** dished out and be over it the next day, but last night was very different, and the first time I've apoogised to my son for my language.
