  • We must appeal that decision......

Getting away from whether NW is good enough, we MUST appeal the decision today. Have just watched the incident again, with the footage showing what went on just before. JB was basically taken out by Johnson and someone else, completely off the ball.
Absolutely disgusting tactics by Norwich and I hope these players will be charged accordingly.
I saw it at the time but now I have seen it again, you have to say Barton was being severely provoked and DID NOT headbutt Johnson.
I hope MOTD fully highlight this and the Norwich players face suspension too.

The way I see it Kit Joey has quoted what the ref said to him at HT.Now Joey would be a very silly boy to quote something that ain't true, so surely must be true.
So if that's the case then said officials are an embarrassment to the FA for sending off someone without actually witnessing it, and FA should not only over turn the card and have officials shot at dawn, but also ensure we get some outrageous dicisions in the next 10 games so as to help us pick up 30 points.
Then again they might think but for our brilliant QC they would have nailed us to the wall last year and are after some revenge

Would love to know what was going through the Refs head right from the start. Not sure if he has history with NW but he was bent from about 2nd minute, how Norwich only got 1 yellow with everything that went on is quite unbelievable.

The elbow was enough to deserve a red even if the FA believe Joey's version of the headbutt. No need to risk being banned for a 4th game when he will only miss 2 FA cup games and Newcastle (a)

Barton clearly pushes his face into Johnsons and that's just asking for trouble ...not sure if you can get a straight red overturned anyway ??

We have to appeal it. It wasn't a red card.
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

Bradley Johnson not helping his case for being headbutted.

He's at the darts at the moment

It's only a straight red that can be overturned.
I have just seen it again in slow mo now neither officials saw anything so who decided it was a red? the 4th official/, Lambert?
Kit that ref was letting the farmers get away with challenges and penalising us for the same ones, from the very start

That's the lowest of the low, you've sent a follow pro off and you're being a **** about it too. Disgrace. He should be punished for cheating
