  • Let Down

This season I think will be another massive let down. We have no quality up front, the Italian guy is again a cheap option, yet we are excepted to fork out some of the most expensive prices for players that I would have suspected us to sign under the old board. No matter how much spin you put on it the owners at the moment do not want promotion; if they did there would have been some serious investment in quality players, not average players on 4 year contracts.
Everyone was laughing at us, now they just pity us, all this wealth spent on some fancy exec boxes that they cannot sell, we then we have to make up the difference, and the playing side suffers.
I fear that when they have become bored of us which I don't think will be very long that we will be in a worse situation than before they came.

Oh for the days of signing left wingers from Brentford, forwards from Hayes, right wingers from Yeading.....

          They were simpler times.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

It will all end in tears, mark my words.

There is not too much to be optomistic about, apart from the fact we will not be in a relegation battle.

Wait until we loss are first game
Honestly though what has changed from last season, we was not good enough then. I just hope we spend some of the Dexter Money on a striking

Having Buzz and Vine back is a huge plus and like 2 new signings. So to say no difference from last season is nonsense. We also have a much more settled player in Gorrks. Also Connelly and Balanta are getting better with each performance. Yes we need a left back and striker but it is not all doom and gloom. We have got rid of DD and DB and got good money for 2 players with very little ability when the ball is at there feet. We will sign more players the board know they have to but we are not far away.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Just shows how we all see things so differently. For what it's worth I am optimistic about the new season-defence and midfield are sorted-OK on paper we look a little lightweight upfront-but let's see what happens..Pellicori may come flying out of the traps,Agyemang may get back to his best form,Helguson may find his shooting boots,Vine may play further up,and, who knows,we may even sign another striker.
To write-off our season before it has even started seems ridiculous.

R block from 2 guys that never agree on anything and have had many arguments I think we are pointing in the same direction ;)

Buzz and Vine will take a while to get back to what we know they can do. I do not rate Pat, but that is just my opinion and after seeing Heider miss from 2 yards virtual every week I’m not confident. I know we have a great defence, but if you cannot score at the other end you will not get anywhere. All I want to see is for us to get a decent player in upfront. I know there is no guarantee that they will score the goals, but it might give the whole team a lift, maybe even improve are strikers we already have, for me there is a real lack of competition.
I’m not writing off the season, I just want to see us push on, and at the moment I think that we have not improved the team. If anything it may be slightly weaker. Then again we might go and sign 3 or quality Championship players and have a real go
