Queens Park Rangers are considering giving Wayne Bridge a route out of his Manchester City hell. Neil Warnock is looking to recruit a left back with Armand Traore at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Hope this is true as it makes perfect sense for us. Once match fit he will be a good LB for us, provides cover for Traore during the African Nations and allows him to be played at LM if preferable once he returns.
Plus City will pay a load of his wages as they will still be saving whatever we contribute. Win win..

Agree with all that mate and think he is a very good player. ONLY worry I have is that he was apparently (as I didnt see him play myself) awful at Wet Spam last year when on loan there?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I only saw highlights of a couple of games and he didn't look great, but think that was more due to the fact the whole team were shocking defensively and he was getting isolated at time. Plus he didn't look fit.
I only read the article after posting and see he could be on a free, can't be bad as long as the bloke finally at 31 decides it might be worth actually playing some football before his career ends and accepts a lower pay packet. I mean the bloke will be minted obviously, but when he's old and looks back at the amount of his time wasted as a sub at Chelsea and City, what will he think... let's face it he'd have been minted on lower wages in the prem anyway, and he could've played 100's more games. He was an international class player ffs and wasted like so many.
He was very poor at West Ham last season when he was on loan.
he was, but TBF, i don't think he was fit by any stretch and also doubt he really wanted to be there as they were in turmoil, playing abysmally and everyone knew they were going down.
I think if we got him, he could be as good as Young if not better once match fit. He has always been a class LB and if it wasn't for Ashley Cole, who as much as i hate to say it is one of the best LB's this country's seen, Wayne Bridge could have had 80 England Caps.
