    everyone off?
Agree with Matty, what do you want?..Better players cost more money.

I agree better players cost more money but when you see that, allegedly, Spurs top earner last year was Robbie Keane on 90 grand a week and they get 35,000 plus every week and were playing Champions League football then surely we shouldnt be paying anyone the 80 grand a week thats been banded about. Im sure the owners arent stupid but we've seen many teams get relegated and then are stuck with a huge wage bill they cant afford. But hey ho
Im sure they are many others on here that think, **** it, it aint my money and i want to see Rangers doing well in the prem.

I don't know why some fans get hung up about the money. It's not our money the owners are spending, but theirs, and I'm sure we have total faith in Tony and Amit so we should back their judgement on the direction they're taking the club.

As Amit said after the last round of transfers, the money spent came out of their own pockets, and wasn't put on the club's books. If we're to stay in the EPL, we have no choice but to spend some money, but remember, it's not our money they're spending, but their own.

Anyway, with Tony and Amit making the decisions, I have nothing less than 100% faith in their judgement.

Dave I think you've hit nail on the head mate, with the bit about "the owners aren't stupid".
I totally agree I don't think they are.As I've already said no one knows what our players get paid, yeah I know JB allegedly told Karl Henry this but then Joey was trying to get a reaction out of him, so you're gonna build it up more surely.

I don't entirely agree with that.

They may have funded the transfer, but the wages they will not pay forever, if they are anyway - and seeing as all of the money that comes through the gate and merchendise + the huge increased amount from TV revenue is money generated by fans, then your money is going towards running the club. If not prices would only go up with inflation.

I am grateful for what they are doing, but don't dismiss the fans contribution to the club too. We generate a lot of money that ends up in players pockets.

I'm not dismissing the contribution made by fans, but the reality is that fans alone cannot support the club financially. Our fans are NOT generating huge TV revenues, and you forget the sums generated by the commercial side, advertising, sponsorship etc.

Finally, we have a shot at the big time in the biggest league in the world, and some are quibbling over players wages and transfer fees. Let Tony and Amit get on with it. I'm sure they know what they're doing.
