Speaking of the Adelaide dont ever use the Adelaide cafe opposite anymore as its strictly Halal and they serve turkey rashers instead of bacon but dont tell you till its on the plate
some quality boozers on askew rd..........the sun..........deceased..........travellers......... .deceased.............the orchard..........soon to be deceased
The Orchard going too?? Oh dear... mind you I wouldn't include The Travellers on a quality list... it was a little better in the Old Bull and Bush days, though I remember being in there round about this time about 10 years ago when a geezer stabbed the landlady's husband and their rotweiller... and then took refuge in the Eagle.

Raven in the late 70's was decent for crumpet, the ''in'' pub at the time, funny how pubs become flavour of the month, then are deserted
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most
