What's painful to read is people slagging off Jelavic & Collins who are very good players and then seeing people wanting Maynard and other 'punts'

Very true.

Also, if the reports are saying £7m, it would probably end up more like £5m with possibly a sell on clause or something. The guy clearly has quality and could be excellent. Just because at the time Rangers seemed like a big club and good move for him, regardless of being apoor league, doesn't mean he couldn;t also do a job in the Prem.

If we did sign him and he was a revelation, we could be saying he's worth £15-20m in a couple of years if any of the big clubs come sniffing.
