  • Squad for tonight announced

Fresh from their 3-1 victory over a Charlton Athletic X1 on Saturday, The Rovers will play hosts this evening to Championship side, Queens Park Rangers – kick off 7.45pm.
The QPR squad have just arrived back in the country following a pretty gruelling eight day tour of Slovenia where the R’s played two games, drawing 2-2 with NK Celje but losing 3-1 on Sunday to NK Karlovac. New Manager, Jim Magilton will be very keen to see his side return to winning ways and a repeat of the recent 4-0 victory over League Two, Aldershot Town will no doubt be high on his agenda.
Both teams will be looking to experiment further and continue their preparations in readiness for the big kick off on 8th August. This should be a real test for the Rovers young squad and we can expect our defence to face much more of an attack than they have in the previous two matches.
Come along and make your voices heard.
Admission Prices – Adults £10, Concessions £5, Children under 16 £2. Pay on the gate.

The QPR Squad for this evening’s game has been announced as follows:

Andy Marshall (GK), Elvis Puttins (GK), Romone Rose, Damion Stewart, Patrick Agyemang, Branstons Piccalilli, Akos Buzsaky, Hogan Ephraim, Martin Rowlands, Lee Brown, Joe Oastler, John Parker, Antonio German, Dan Davenport.

Branstons Piccalilli? Is he related to Branston Pickle?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Andy Marshall? Wasn't he the Oldham keeper about 10 years ago?

Makes me laugh that there's still be zero official confirmation that he's even on trial!

Andy Marshall isn't a bad keeper. Decent backup for Cerny IMO.
