didnt this Italian need to impress first before we signed him!,JESUS we might as well sign Connolly as well, just to make our front line even worse,if that can be possible.:(

He had one header which he sent wide thats seemingy enough to impress our board into a contract! I would guess 20k a week for the next 4 years ought to do it!

I think its his record in Italy, much less goals scored in Italy and for him to get near 20 is pretty good. Look, I have said he may not be the answer, but its not fair to write him off before anyone has even seen him play. I'm not bigging it up, but 7 fans have actually seen him play in a friendly, but many are writing him off before they have seen him play.

At least give the guy a few games before deciding if we want him.

i thought our resident stato established that he scored 6 goals last season, it was 18 the year before.

so is that it for strikers or are we still in the market for one more?

Would love to clear this confusion up once and for all; I keep reading different reports. Exactly how many did he score last season?

Good - then we can stop having 10 threads a day saying how unfair it is to sell roy of the bloody rovers who has scored a blistering one goal every 3.5 games in his career.

1 in 1 out at least
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

We all wanted a goalscorer this guy found the back off the net last season, why not again this season.

Give him a chance before we judge

never boo players anyhow and gotta reserve judgement till he's played a few. Just seems that this is a Flabio or GP foreign import and they havent been too clever in the past. Anyhow if the guy isnt much good it wont be him that gets the abuse its gonna be Flabio and GP for once again for trying to do it on the cheap.

We have been down this road before, an unknown Italian from no-wheres-ville. This smells of Fat-boys interference all over again. When will he learn ? There are players in this country that we have all been talking about, but no, the "special one" knows best !!!

Italians are good defenders not strikers
