  • Luke Young on Adel

    Perfectly summed up by Young:

"Adel's a one-off for us. He offers us something completely different and can make the difference in matches.
It could be 0-0 and he'd come up with that bit of magic that gets you three points instead of one. You need match-winners at this level."

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Someone better tell brisbanediv then as he reckons he was nothing special.

Personally I'd probably believe a proven premiership player & team mate of Adel & also the fans who travelled & watched the game over someone who's watched it on the internet where you won't see off the ball runs or movement away from the action.

But hey ho what do we know..

"I made a point of going up to him at the end of the game to tell him he'd been brilliant.
Great that the team is pulling together and can see that Adel has the ability to win games for us

there suddenly seems to be alot of good PR for adel coming out of the club, fernandes stated we wouldnt sell him, ijtaylor tweeted alot about him during the swansea game, the offical website praised him alot in the game review and now luke young.

Amazing what one can do when one leaves the Tagines alone, trains properly, and leaves the attitude at home.........

After watching him against Man U, Sunderland and Swansea he has proven he can be a great player when he puts his mind to it

I think its made people realise the potential what Adel can do in the Prem and how he can change games around

He deserves the praise after the stick he got mostly from our own fans

True Dale & like yourself I've been a strong supporter of Adel's as I know what he can bring but as others have mentioned he really needs to do his bit now. Train properly, turn up on time & continue the efforts we have seen in recent games & if he does all that we have one hell of a player on our hands.

Always a chance of that as it's clearly part of his personality.

However, if he is now getting respect from the senior PL pro's because he's finally applying himself then he may (hopefully) feed off of that.

My prediction is that there will be a few "minor incidents" along the way - but nothing like the magnitude of what we have seen so far this season.
