If Martin is contractually owed money regardless of whether he is playing or not he should get every single penny back.

At risk of being jumped on by the pro Rowland ‘he was a great servant to the club’ posters in my humble opinion great servants to the club do not mug off the fans at POTY dos because their not getting a game or call the players off the pitch because the minority of fans are booing at the end or go above the managers head.

Rowland’s was a decent player for us no more no less.

Great servants to the club in my view are the likes of Furlong who took some stick stuck at it and changed the fans opinions or Ainsworth who lost his place at a similar time to Rowlands but remained professional never caused any problems and left with his head held high.

No matter how good Rowlands was the fans will have mixed views on him purely because of his off the field antics

mate, i cant argue with that..i was expecting more anti-rowlands posts but looks like its quite honest and fair..with a few stupid exceptions..

Rowlands has done ok for us, but the last 2 years hasn't and for those who saw the Rochdale game will know why N.W. wouldn't pick him he was abysmal. I beleive the only reason he's now back is because he is injured which has probably been his biggest problem over the last 3 years he's contantly struggling with various injuries. but also take into the fact that there have been no firm offers for him.(no one wants him) and he's prepared to just sit tight and take the money beleived to be on around Ł15K a week shows he has a distinct lack of ambition to go anywhere and resurect his playing career even at a lower level, as for the Promotion bonus anyone who was part of the squad should get their share as to what they actually contributed to the promotion.

Martin and warnock don't get on at all, all Martin wants is his promotion bonus and his contract paid up so he can leave, when he said to warnock about his bonus warnock said
' I haven't had my cut of that yet' to which Martin said 'u ain't getting none of it' and warnock walk off and said ' u ain't getting it then'. It makes me think what a tramp warnock is and goes to show how true it is about warnock getting money off a lot of the players and Martin confirm this

Can't comment on the issue as I know nothing about it but what I will say is the poster who posted it is one of my best pals for many years & the person who told him is also a very good pal who is in our circle. Both these lads know lots of people are are 100% not into tittle tattle talk.

If they told me something I know its gospel & would never question it. I've never had to question their words in as many years as I've known them so no reason to now.

If this was said by MR to my pal maybe Martin is spinning a yarn because I would put my life on it its neither of my 2 pals.

Do seem to be various rumours swirling round about Warnock. No one has offered any proof so the manager should be assumed innocent. But given the rumours it wd be gd if the club looked into this, if only to clear the manager's name. Oh, and if its untrue, and Rowlands is spreading it around, then he should be fired without a penny.
