Will he change his name to Muhammed when he gets older?

good house music producers. Don't see anything wrong with the name. How is it contraversial?

Cassius is an African name and neither Barton nor his wife are African. Clay was part of the Nation of Islam which was a racist movement that were supporters of black power and saw the white man as the devil.

                      Should that matter?

                        Exactly.

Apple is a fruit and neither Chris Martin nor Gweneth Paltrow are pomegranetes.

Its just a name, let the man call his child what he wishes.

I thought it was a roman name?

Agree that should not matter and was not right about where it comes from but if he did name the kid after Cassius Clay then it is silly as it is wrong because he was a supporter of many anti white groups. It would be like calling your son Nick Griffin after the man if you were of African origin.
