  • Lots of strangers last night

Of course I don't know every regular who goes to away games or claim to in any way but there were so many of our fans who I did not recognise by sight at least at all last night

I am presuming that these fans have been unable to get tickets to our recent away games and plenty last season because of the loyalty point system and perhaps we have a large fan base in the West Country which gave them a chance at last to see us on the road but whatever the reason it was good to see a very decent turnout and the very obvious loyal support by everyone who went

Wish there was a system that could be devised where these fans were able to get away tickets more easily

The points system is a big player in allocation of away tickets and some season ticket holders buy for all games so they to get the points so they get arsenal away for example but then try to move the smaller away tickets on as they dont really want to go, i am not a season ticket holder as now live 500 miles from w12 but took membership this year in hope of away tickets at northern grounds as i can do those games in one day but so far could only get tickets for wigan and now newcastle in two weeks i could have made liverpool and stoke but could not get tickets and will not buy from season ticket lholder who bought just for the points. Having said that i think its right season ticket holders get first shout as they lay out big dosh pre season for the season ticket. , Never had problems for away tickets in the north when in league one! home game mean overnight stay for me so due to cost its usually half a dozen per season if im lucky as time of work plays big part too.

of course there are so many accents QPR fans come from everywhere, including me ;) I am one of those who say qpRRRRRRR :D

To IsleworthRanger: Thats how is gonna be from now on my friend - more and more "strangers" will be seen supporting QPR, just adapt ;) We have to grow our fan base a lot, slowly, slowly we`ll get there to 40 000 (our new stadium capacity).

I have no problem with it all and the more the better in my opinion and it was great so many of how fans managed to see QPR last night who might have had to miss out recently ironically because of our success

definately a lot of Rangers supporters who were once local and have moved or retired to the West Country, have a look at Shepherds Bush non match days, they have move to somewhere
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

I don't normally go to many away games but I do actually recognise a lot of the away fans. Odd.
