Paul I think you need to go back to the very first page of this thread.

Benny makes a point & I clearly don't agree with it. I said its not a personality contest & we need our better players to play etc etc so obviously you missed that. I don't have to agree or disagree with anyone on here you see. I have my own opinions.

To the people saying he can't be judged as our best player unless he plays & does it week in week out. Its comments like that, that really do make me wonder if people have the first idea about football. Does Taarabt pick the team? No thought not. This is the first 90 mins he's played since when? Spurs? How can he turn it on & create the opportunities we know he can when he's warming the bench or not involved at all? Play him every week behind the striker / strikers & we all know what he can do.

We have created next to nothing in previous games & since he's come back in we are putting some great stuff together. He's a footballer & he's creative something we are extremely lacking when he is absent from the side.

      Sorry forgot to mention also.

These people that keep saying he must do it like Faurlin does it every week. Does he?

I think he's had some very ordinary games lately even so last night. Those that watched it on Sky said he was good which is fair enough but to me he looks over run at times & goes sideways a lot when he could go forward. Also let's not comment on his shooting. Still think he's a very very good player but he's no Iniesta as some would have you believe on here.

Few weeks ago i was all for adel being on the bench, but after last night and at sunderland, we are crying out for some creativity. i thought his work ethic last night was pretty good for a player who has barely played... ok he made one mistake by not passing to mackie but maybe he wasnt aware... top performance.. Thought lasts nights point was as a good a point as we have got all season. Realy tough place to go.

Now you have sobered up....... I agree, as I did with you on your all hail Adel thread last week after the Sunderland game (checkbif you want). Also on his position, I'm one of the only people saying play him behind the striker, everyone else wants him on the left.

Ps I didn't see any reference to benny and others in your rants, just reference to me.

I guess you're referring to me there then Ric as i said those things. Yes i love Faurlin and yes he does do it almost every week. He is our most consistent player by far. But i have to agree with you mate the last 3 games he hasn't been as good. Gave away quite a few silly passes. He did rescue himself second half yesterday though.

I also agree with a lot of your points about AT. The guy is a genius at times and without doubt our most creative player. When he's full of it he's great to watch but when he goes into sulk mode he's a liability and were in a relegation battle so we can't afford to play with 10 players if Adel goes off sulking. Adels last 3 performances have been way improved and even his attitude looks way better. He seems to be wanting the ball all the time again which is a good sign his confidence is growing again.

YES IMHO..he has to do it week in wek out against all sides not just sh*^te championship sides, to be classed a great prem player...or 4/5 games to be classed a good prem player..or maybe even 3 of 5....like parker, rooney and all the good prem players do.....

Maybe at Arsenal he will have a blinder playing the same style as then, or maybe they will pass around him and show him for what he is...who knows?but will he ba as good the wek after? dont bother with the players around him argument either..Scott Parker last season make that argument look as stupid as it is..!

But a a geat player he has to deliver THE MAJORITY of the time (IMO), not just against weak opposition....and MK Dons aint gonna count either..

Really..He has 1 good game against a championship side and suddenly he's the messiah...get real...he hasn't proved anything yet....His time is very fast running out..the only reason he'll stay is because no-one else wants him...now i wonder why that would be........?

Also a few more goals would help his case, as would not giving the ball away in dangerous areas etc....and did i read a previous comparing him and stan bowles...pure stupidity...and you say we dont know anything about football..

Also FYI...your point about Faurlin is valid, just he's more consistant....

rant over..i'm off to watch the replay in the bar now

I do agree Tarrabt is one of our most creative players but there seems to be no middle ground here.

This 51 completed passes thing how many were actually forward, what did he actually create with these passes.

Correct me if I am wrong but I can only remember one decent shot turned around the post with him also choosing to shoot weakly when Mackie was in a far better position second half.Tarrabt flatters to decive at this level and that probably says more about our other players than him

No one has commented but maybe because this is a thread about AT.
I said yesterday on the way home that Hall was my motm; thought he was superb.

Having watched the game back this morning I still think AT had a good game, Ali had a cracking second half and Fitz Hall was our man of the match.

                      Great posts Ric.

If a player can do it week in week out without exception then they wouldnt be at a club like QPR thats for sure.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Great to see him back on form and proving those people wrong who wrote him off as a championship player

By far our most creative player with vision

All you Taarabt haters need to let it go now and get behind the team

Ok he has struggled at times with the pace of the prem but for all the games Adel won us last season with a touch of brilliance Derry won us with discipline and professionalism and without him i do not believe we would of gone up. He has also played his part this year with fantastic dislpays against Chelsea and Everton. Derry isnt the future but deserves a bit more credit than you have give him there
Thanks for the comment Dave. I accept Shaun D played a massive part last season - though wouldn't accept he "won" us as many games as Adel. Warnock cd have found another Derry imo, but not another Adel. But my argument is not with him last season as agree he was superb, my argument is with him this season. He has been found out. There was a moment last night when Barton or Faurlin were looking to make a pass and Derry was just standing right next to them, getting in the way, not looking to move to give them an out ball. Attitude? Can't fault it. Wish Adel had some of it. But a Prem player? Maybe if he had come up with us and Warno a few years ago, but sadly not now. Wd rather he left now when we all have fond memories of him than gradually looking worse and worse.

Ok so just watched the game again and have too say..if you lot think Adels performance was that of a great prem player.then..you are either dillousionall or the standard of the worlds 3rd best league has dropped dramatically..(yes third after best supported and most / best players)--germany and spain fyi....dont kid yourself!!

I'd love to see the percentages of pases he played backwards after trying to get through and being caught out....

I genuinely like him as a skillfull player..but leave it out..that was not how a good prem player would have performed against mediocre oppo....

seriously..open your eyes.....i said pre season that derry and Adel (as great as they were in the championship) would get found out in the prem....that still stands....

Derry (with a bit Adel) won us the championship..he allowed him to play and no co-incidence faurs was thier too....

Please..kiss adels #### all you like, but he was sold by a manger building a good team (and they are good arent they) to a team with a bit of cash to get out the championship..no one else would have him...sell him to west ham and forget a very average performance against"the mighty swansea" (who?)

                                The denial is funny

Trying too hard to not look silly because you dismissed him and wanting to get rid

Trying to compare Taarabt to Derry is reaching

We have all seen Taarabt perform well against Man U, Sunderland and now Swansea but you still got people who want to see him fail so they can be proved right

                                Looks like you lost

Taarabt has proved you wrong that he aint a Championship player and is one of our best players but still you want to put the man down
