  • The Sale of Dexter Blackstock-Whose Decision??

So it looks like he is on his way...

Does anyone ITK really know who made the decision to sell?

We were led to believe that JM/JG would be in total charge of transfer policy.

Have they really had long enough to judge him?

    What is the truth?

This will be the 4th manager that doesn't rate him.
    So lets not slate Briatore.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We all know Flavio did not like him, however Jimbo Madge is selecting the players he wants, maybe the fee was to good to refuse but who knows?

His gone so we should just move on.

Whoever it is, I am not really surprised.

£1.6M for him is good, considering he is at best a reasonable striker who might get 15 goals, but is not really a team player and will leave on a free next July.

I just hope QPR spend the money on signing someone like Evans. He may turm out to be just as frustrating but is worth a try and who knows, he might even be twice as good.

The words, "might" and "hope" seem to be very consistent when talking about replacements for dex.

Its £1.6m now, but we also got 400k for the loan at the end of last season, so overall the deal is worth £2m.

Good buisness, but he needs to be replaced.

I think Jim and Gorman are in charge.

But one condition before they came in was that blackstock was going.

get the feeling he wants to go anyhow so no point trying to keep him although someone coulda tried harder to bring him round...

Agree, no point waiting till end of season and getting sod all for him

with all the decisions that have gone on since the end of the season this is a pi.ss poor one the only forward who will score us goals, five year plan my foot. What get rid of your young players and keep cripples and forwards who could not score in a br.othel :cry:

Its the players decision. Forest will give him more money, no point in waiting 12 months when he can go for free, he is adored By Forest fans, has a mixed rapport with QPR fans, all adds up to good decision for Blackstock. I'm not happy we are selling our one potential 20 goal a season striker, but many others think he is lazy, difference is everyone at Forest believes in him, its a no brainer.
