Depends on who we sign, hes not a miracle worker, if we get 2 quality strikers in (i'll settle for 1 at this point) then we have a good chance of making the playoffs, if we dont then Heidar "useless" Helguson and Agyemang wont get the goals to give us a chance.

Imagine if that's true, signed on a four contract and the best was a purple patch of scoring what was it 7 in 8 games before being injured for most of last season. Not blaming anyone but we do need to do better in the transfer market

I take your point, its just galling to have players on our books earning good money for little end product.

i agree. I think we will do well under Jim, but not until at least a couple of players sign. We have some excellent players, but we also have too many average ones. We should be looking to improve - but so far we are pretty much the same, if not worse IMO

I see it more as a DiCaneo half season (doubt he will last the full season). Quite attractive passages of play but completely lacking the tools to get anywhere near the play off. Then jim will be blamed and sacked (quite unfairly, but that is the pattern).
