  • How things change

It wasn't that long ago we were all convinced we would be a dead cert for relegation - it looked like we would be signing nobodies on frees and injury plagued has beens. Admittedly we have got some of the above, but my point is we are doing pretty well all things considered. I know we could and should have got more results but at the start of the season the aim was always to get to Jan with a fighting chance of staying up - and even if we fail to get points between now and then, we've got a workable platform to start the 2nd half of the season from. A few new signings - defo in defence and a little creative flair and we'll be okay.

I'll probably get shot down for going against all the "sack the manager" posts and the rest of the negativity but I think we're doing just fine.

I wouldn't be surprised if we go on a good run in Jan as some points are defo there for the taking - and the same posters who are so negative all the time will be singing for Europe.

Lets get behind the manager, the players and all stick together - its not perfect but it could be worse... we could be Cardiff.

one thing your right about was that it was always going to be a battle , anyone thinking europe was crazy , had w etaken the points available to us there would be no worries , no one here would disagree we would love warnock to turn it around , warnock can not be above criticism and a lot of it hes bought on himself by basic strategic decisions he and noone else has taken , no need to list as have been listed by many already, we all make mistakes but the trick s to not repeat them , unfortunately at the moment they are the same mistakes game after game. yes we should be grateful no longer in wilderness but lets not mistake that for willing to accept these same mistakes week after week resulting in us back in the wilderness again.

We all think we could and should have done better, but we haven't and we are alive with funds to spend. Good and realistic post.

          Exactly

Maybe its just the Chelmsford R's who are positive

Plenty of people will agree with that, but people don't tend to post "I'm ok with stuff.. it could be better, but could be worse".

You tend to get extreme opinions on mb's, most often negative ones. If that's how people feel, that's fine. But it often gives a false impression of how an entire fanbase is feeling.
Just the way these boards are.

Me, I'm worried about the way we're playing, but definitely no panic yet.
A couple of decent signings (especially at CB), and a couple of home wins, then we'll be fine.

If we're knee deep in sh*t & still in bad form in february, and the window has closed - then I'll join in and panic like f**k.
"Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.
