SWP - Will play better with better players around him e.g strikers who can score
Teams below us - Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan and Wolves are all worse than us and do not have as much fundage as us for the january window
January - Just around the corner
Swansea a, Norwich h - As much as these are must win games, i don't see Norwich in a relegation fight at the end of the season, swansea maybe.
Barton -Is not the same player he was, cut our losses and sell in jan (if we can)
Taarabt - Not the answer, I still think 7-8M would be a tidy deal for us.
Players we are looking at - The likes of Bent, Paulevchenko(spelling?), Bassong etc are all quality players and we look to be ambitious on our signings...will they want to come though if were in the bottom 3 by 4th Jan????
Are overall situation at the moment is not as bad as made out to be. I think we will beat MK Dons and maybe even have a nice little cup run.
Norwich on the other hand must be sacrificing sheeps for the slaughter, I dont know how/where they get their luck from.
After Arsenal we have 8 games which we should pick up alot of points from, if we fail to do that, we may bein big trouble.
My first game was boxing day 96 QPR 3-2 Norwich....yes we actually beat Norwich.

      n't

They've beaten or drawn with us (except Wolves) so are they worse than us?
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

you really believe those 4 teams worse? , l bolton have the capacity to go win 2-3 on spin wigan unbeaten in a few and have played chelshit and liverpool in that wolves been here before and blackburn are a new manager away from winning games, swansea not losing games at home neither conceding i bet you every other manager looking at us as certaintys for it and think its a fight for the other 2 spots

Disagree with the OP. Joey is not the problem, and Adel needs some good man management. These two are potentially our craftsmen.

I wouldn't hold out too much hope in us getting in strong reinforcements. We don't look an attractive proposition right now.

Good players can flourish and look better with quality around them. However, this is not the problem here.

At the moment SWP cannot control a football, trap a bag of cement, cross a road or pass water. These things are not effected by having quality around you. They are caused by being sh1t. Maybe, that is temporary, but at the moment that's what he is.

Bit harsh that. How about playing him in the right position? That'll help.

                    Missed my point totally.

PLaying someone out of position means they won't be as effective, sure. It does not mean they can no longer complete a 3 yard pass, or control a ball.

That is down to skill, ability, CONCENTRATION, and actually wanting to play football where you are. Unless he is injured, in which case should not be out there.

But he's premier league class. Mackie has out performed him (and Barton) in pretty much every game he's played yet he is the one the knives are out for.
Pray tell me just how many times these two premier league legends have been better than Mackie this season and then have a think why JM gets the manager's vote - oh yeah it's because he's Warnock's secret love child - real good footballing nouse :=B:

SWP and Barton are definately the biggest disapointments of the season for me. Boothroyd has been poor, but I didn't expect as much as many on here. Tarbs will get criticised, but we don't really know what is going on behind the scenes - at least he looks like he might create something when hs is on.

Jamie is not top quality - at least he is playing as best he can - unlike our 2 super-stars.

Best plerformers this year are HH, Young, Faurlin (though starting to slip a bit) and Ferdinand.

The less said about Dyer the better!

When someone is so natural and so good on the right wing, why play them on the left wing, when they don't have a left foot. This just shows how stubborn NW is with his team selection, tactics and substitutions and why he will pay for his stubbornness with his job.

Agree with that. I'm now convinced SWP has been bought to be Mackie's back up.
