what went wrong last night against sunderland?
danny gabbidon was at fault for the second goal. we need to deal with the long balls they threw at us and also we need to be having more shots from the edge of the area. not trying to pass the ball in

The pressure of needing a win got to everyone. From kick-off you could see that things weren't right, body language between the players etc. After they scored their first and Bedtner was playing like Messi I thought we'd get dicked 4 or 5
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

For me, two things. Hill should have been on instead of Derry, and playing LB. Adel or DJ should have been on instead of Mackie.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

How bad then does that make our premier league (and indeed England internationals) legends because Barton & SWP were head and shoulders worse players in those two games than Mackie was.

Key difference is though, Barton and SWP have the ability to play so so much better. And they will. They ripped Wolves/Newcastle apart.

Mackie though has nothing more to offer ability wise. Effort is top notch. But his quality, creativity and ability at this level is not good enough week in week out.

What went wrong? Connolly and Gabbidon shouldn't have started imo. I would rather Hall and Shittu (experience but i dont think he is even in the 25?)! I would have also started Taarabt and played DJ Campbell at some point

Were you at the game? He wasnt brilliant no, but he done an awful lot more than most of our players. Wasnt bad at all IMO.

we dont seem to play premiership football anymore. At the beginning of the season, there were lots of quick, pass short passing moves - even before the new signings. Now it seems like we are playing hoofball, with no imagination.

Pressure mate. But we bring it on ourselves and it's getting worse by the game. No disgrace in losing or being outplayed by better sides, but aiding and abetting the lesser teams with poor team selection, tactics and substitutions isn't helping matters.
