  • 4-4-2 against United, but 4-5-1 against Sunderland

Now I know I don't have my UEFA badges, but surely logic would tell you to be a bit more defensive against the strong teams and be more open against the sides you need to beat.

I would love to know what Warnock's team meetings are like before games when he goes through tactics etc. I bet it's like Mike Basset England manager!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Agreed... And I have got a badge from a penalty shootout when I was a kid.

      I have to agree.
Was absolutely baffled as to why we were going into the Sunderland match with a 4-5-1 formation, surely 4-4-2, especially when playing at Loftus Road has to be the norm?

Utd could have been 4 or 5 really. Said yesterday we have to have an attacking formation v Sunderland as we are not taking points from fellow strugglers and even a draw doesn't really help.

Maybe NW will get a copy of Football Manager for Xmas, so he can have a little play with that.

I think the problem is he thinks it is fine to roll over for teams like UtD as they are so magical and we are so lucky to be playing them. Certainly what his after match interviews sound like to me anyway.

I have a real problem with NW showing so much respect for the likes of Utd Chelsea and City. F*ck 'em. I'm not in awe of them or their foreign mercenaries. As far as I'm concerned, all this respect ****** has to stop. It's time we got a little nasty and horrible to play against.

            Have to agree.
Looking all gooey-eyed at teams like Manure, Liverfool, Man shiteh, etc....Makes us look like right planks with the points to match

Remember good old Wimbledon? Ok, they never played the sexiest football in the history of the game, but they stuck it to everyone they played against, culminating in their FA cup final win in 1988.

I always had a soft spot for them. Small club, limited resources, and did the best with what they had, but most of all, they showed no respect for any of the big boys.

That's how I remember it anyway
