  • What has happened ?

We virtually have the same team out there that beat the likes of Stoke and Wolves away yet we are struggling to find a single bit of that form now. Im beginning to think something may have happened behind the scenes. It seems to me there is a total lack of urgency during games and togetherness, proved when Mackie scored and celebrated on his todd.

From what I saw last night on here or twitter, you cant have a pop at Warnock without being accused of "wanting him out !". Its pathetic. Its like you cant be negative without being labelled a "5 minute fan". Yes, Warnock has worked miracles with us, he has been a genius and I will love the man forever but the last few games, and especially last night, his tactics have been totally wrong. We should be going for the jugular at home against teams like Sunderland, not sitting with 3 holding midfield players and one out n out natural CF. Helguson was totally isolated up there which resulted in us not having a single shot on target in the 1st half. SWP is a right winger, and when he started the game there he looked comfortable. So why switch him to the Left ? It feels like we are trying to accomodate Mackie. All this doesnt mean I want Warnock sacked, Im just voicing my concerns.

But Warnock isnt the only one who should take stick, the players havent been anywhere near their best at all. We all know we need at least 2 new CB's. Unfortunately, Connelly, Hall and Gabiddon are not good enough for this level. The way Sessengon and Bendtner tore them to shreds last night was embarrassing. We have conceeded far to many sloppy goals. I like our 2 full backs, and for the first time in years we can actually say we have 2 natural full backs. What is worrying me is the lack of pace and the amount of space we are giving the opposition in the middle of the park. Against WBA with Morrison, Man Utd with Carrick and last night for Sessengon's goal the opposition tore through us through the middle of the park. There was enough space to park a double decker. It happened on a few occasions last night and without Paddy having to make 2 or 3 great stops from break aways, we could've lost 5-2. We need someone like a Fabrice Muamba in the middle with Faurlin. Someone who will run non stop, with a bit of pace and who isnt afraid to get forward. Thats the trouble, both Faurlin and Barton on most occasions, wont break a neck to get forward to support the front man. We need a natural left winger. Someone like a Matt Jarvis or Jerome Thomas so that SWP can play in his natural position. Mackie is a diamond and works his #### off but for me I question wheather he is the finished article for this league. He will run through a brick wall for you and is always nice to have as an option. Taarabt is a must to stay. Without him, I cant see where any creativity will come from. The way he lifted the whole place last night, and the team, was superb. I dont need to explain the reasons why we need a goalscorer as well.

Weve gotta keep on going. Were not in the relegation zone yet. 2 more games until January and lets see what NW does. Not panicing yet although getting a bit worried now. January is vital.
