SWP and Joey Barton have been 2 of our better players this season. If we had 11 players of their quality we would be in the top half of the league by now.

More to the point if we were to offload them as you suggest, who exactly are we going to sign in January that is any better?

We lost last night because our defence was terrible and our tactics were negative an ineffective.

With Ferdinand fit, a decent centre half by his side and some more options in the attacking 3rd it would have been a different story.

Personally I am just praying that we can pick up some more points before the transfer window opens then kick on from there with a stronger squad!

I think people pick on Barton because they hear about how much hes supposedly earning and believe that to directly link to how he plays. The fact is it's not his fault the money he is on and there were 5 or 6 players worse than him on that pitch last night. Saying you would offload him after hes been at the club for less than half the season is pathetic. Theres about 10 players that we need to get rid before you would offload these 2.

I'd play Fitz Hall over Connolly any day of the week.

Hall is prone to an error or 2 and is practically gaurenteed to get injured every other game but he is basically a half decent defender. Connolly on the other hand seems to have forgotten the fundamentals of how to defend. His marking for the first goal last night would have been poor at Sunday League standard!

Barton has not been good for the past few games however, nobody else bar HH and the two goalkeepers has shown any real consistency all season, loss of form is a fact of life, this is not FIFA 12.

We had a relatively "easy" start to the season which we did not take full advantage of (for one reason or another) and now our lack of quality and pace in attack and defence is catching up with us, add to that some bizarre team selections and formation which although Im a massive NW fan I can not fathom we are struggling.

Some fans only see what they want to see, yes we beat Chelsea, played well against City, beat Stoke away... and feel we should be pulling up trees or something, take a look at these results as this will give you a better of idea of what we are up against in this league

To say that JB and SWP should be shipped off because of percieved lack of passion for the club just highlights everything wrong with modern football fans.... If the club took that policy, what player would seriously consider playing for Queens Park Rangers?

Werent hard to up his game was it. He could have ran backwards for whole 2nd half and it would of been better than he was in 1st half!! I love joey but last night he was absolute ######## for 80mins, how anyone can disagree is beyond me! Also why from kick off do we kick the ball out for a throw? Everytime? We love to give possession away cheaply! It's no secret that when we kept the ball and kept the passing short and simple we dominated, just a shame it only lasted 15mins!

Was happy that swp started on the right, and was looking more effective. Because we didn't score warnock reverted him to the left after 15 minutes and he was once again out of position until subbed at half time. It's no mystery - he is a RIGHT winger and should be played there to get the best out of him
