Not a bad line up, but an awful lot of responsibility would be placed on Ale.

Adel needs to start whatever his relationship with the club. Only person who brought anything to the table last night.

What´s the use of putting up threads like this.
No pun to thread starter, but Warnock messes it up anyway.

                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

We do need a shake up or some sorts, but i don't think dropping Barton is the answer.

We have made a statement signing him....and i sometimes wonder whether he looks around and thinks....for f.. sake...

Im not saying he has been great last two games( and yes i have been at both games ) his passing has been pis. poor and wasn't that better last night.....But a couple of his crosses last night...better quailty up front may have dealt with them in a different manner.having said that...cannot blame Heidar.Mackie...yes love him to pieces and greeat goal and great running....and same with Derry...both looked CCC status to me last night...but then please don't get me started on gabbidon.

Not sure what has happened to SWP and whatever the problem is/was/ etc...Adel must start.

I'm leaning towards this. Barton and Faurlin in a 442 doesn't work and Traore forward on the wing is one of our best weapons - perhaps even THE best. It's not perfect but we destroyed Wolves and gave Newcastle and Villa good games playing like this which is better than what we're doing now.

Well, many years ago we had this bloke by the name of Marsh. We later had a fella called Bowles. Chaps such as Currie and Stainrod followed. These players were blessed with the sort of skill and talent that made watching football a real treat. You were entertained, not only with their footballing prowess, but also with their personalities. You literally would be happy to pay to watch them.

Over the years, some very ordinary players whose fitness and work ethic got them mistaken for footballers came along and spoiled the game as a spectacle. Culminating in the arrival of so called superstars () such as Barton etc.

Adel very much sits within the first category. Amazing talent, a delight to watch but can on occasions be frustrating. But not as frustrating as watching blokes that are paid enormous sums of money, not manage to pass the ball accurately 10 yards, shoot 10 feet wide and high from the edge of the box and then spend their time on twitter, instead of attempting to address the problem on a training pitch.

At which point I shall remove the rose coloured spectacles and just hope that we get more players with his sort of skill, rather than some of the dross we currently have to put up with. Although I suspect I'm going to have a long wait.

                              You being serious mate?

That team would get absolutely torn to shreds.. last 2 games most goals we've conceded have come through being much too open.

Taarabt has never, and will never be a central midfielder.

Faurlin on his own in the middle would get absolutely pulverised.

We need to go back to basics, 2 holding midfielders with Tarbs in the free role.

Yes yes yes, but what is a number ten position? I've done the FA coaching course and coached and watched football for a number of years, but I've yet to hear of a position called a number ten. Granted, many great players have worn a shirt with a number ten on it, but what the #### is a number ten position?
