  • Trialist?

Who is this 'trialist' that keeps scoring in the reserve games? He scored again today in the 6-2 defeat to Spurs.

How did you know we lost 6-2?

The scores not going to go down well with Joe Lewis, and i'd like to know who this goal scoring trialist is too.

Would of thought it was Tottenham's fringe players so that Neil could take a look at who he may want to sign
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

              That would be Terence Carter.

Can play at left-back, left midfield and as a centre forward. Versatile as an egg..... Innit...

Or it could be Freddie Champion who we just had on trial from Spuds.

am i the only one not getting excited by a trialist playing well in a few reserve games...i'm kind of hoping that our premiership starting XI might be bulked up by a few, how to say, "well known" signings?

The trialist isn't actually being watched for a possible signing he is asked to do it for fitness and the club are helping him out.

Which it will be, but these players are currently playing for their own clubs and will be bought in January. "Proper signings", ie the likes of Pav, Bassong, Ridgewell etc, dont come for a trial game in the ressies before they sign.
