Bring Back Taarabt

Warnock: We had a similar situation with Adel Taarabt, who has so much ability – but he's not a team player. At the last minute he'll try and put it through somebody's legs instead of passing it. He does frustrate you. But I knew that if the senior pros would let me deal with it in a certain way he would get us promotion, and he did. It's been more difficult for him this season because everybody needs to pull their weight in the Premier League and the other players have been more demanding of him.

Situations like that are when a manager has to earn their stripes though. Sounds like he hasn't been able to.

Got a feeling NW will not start Taarabt or Campbell but same side against Man U

Will de dissapointed if this happens as most now want Taarabt to play

I do wonder if he is better as an impact sub?

Games often start at a quick pace, so if he starts but then makes a few errors he gets frustrated and his game suffers, team mates get on his back, head drops etc, we know the rest coz we've seen it many times.

But if he's on the bench he will be getting really wound up coz he wants to play, and as the opposition tires, it is the best time to introduce him. So I think he will have a greater impact on the game coming on early second half to replace SWP or Mackie.

Dont think Mackie or swp had much impact on the last game

Mackies touch and passes are horrendous at the moment and swp needs to really step it

Dont want to be losing and Adel come on as he could really make an impact from the start

Start him and get the best from him even making him play a full game if looking good and why not

I disagree in that I've noticed he tries too hard when he hasn't got as much time to make an impact when he comes on as sub.

People seem to love to hate Adel. We have players that are way below him in terms of delivering the goods, but because the run a lot, people think they are great.

SWP and JB - havn't delivered anything. In fact, apart from a cpl of OK games against crap teams JB is costing us games now.

JM - Don't make me laugh - he can't cross a road - just head down and run. Yes - 10/10 for effort, but, like Derry, he is a Championship player.

It is NW's job to get players playing. He has a massive talent and can't get the best out of him - that is a failing on the manager's part. It is his job.

Mackie imo is the perfect impact sub, bring him on to chase a game, give us more impetus etc. Taarabt if he is going to make an impact needs to be on the full 90, as he needs to get into the game. Taarabt on the left, which I think would create a brilliant partnership with Traore and SWP on the right. Maybe defensively a bit more open but we need to go for the jugular against teams like Sunderland.

Adel is the only player we have with an eye for killer passes and SWP has the brain to run on to them. As much as i like Mackie he just doesn't have that brain. HH and DJ have the expirence to do it so I would like them 3 at the front with Adel behind.
