What's the case for playing Adel given a complete lack of information about fitness, attitude, tactics and professional expertise of those wanting him to return.

Let's face it. He's a mercenary mor_on who hasn't the wits or wherewithal to work out that it is in his interests to play and play well. We are well rid of a one championship season wonder. Talk about going about getting a Champion's League side to not buy you. He's written the perfect idiot's guide. He is now a joke. Tommy Cooper in his fez would be more useful to us at this stage of the season.(and funnier)

Dont think its right all the negativity towards him seeing that he was acting up last season and most people was not calling for him to not be included in the team as that would of meant we would not even be in the Prem probably

Thing is Dale we all know he is an arrogant, selfish, temperamental, unprofessional at times idiot but we also know he is an absolutely unbelievable footballer who's creativity we are crying out for at the minute. Can't see the problem if he is given a run out to do what he can do & before anyone says he had his chance blah blah just remember players like Barton for a lot of his games was very poor along with Derry, Bothroyd, SWP to name but a few who have all been very average yet are not being slated as much as Taarabt if at all.

Thats incredibly disrespectful to the likes of Kenny, Derry, Mackie, HH, Hill, Faurlin, Smith etc without whom Taarabt wouldn't have been allowed him to flourish the way he did. You seem to have a blind spot about that in all of your posts, failing to grasp the fact that its a team game of 11 players. It was the team that got us promoted - no single individual.

Every player finds his level and would look very good when playing at a level he is better than. Tarrabt found his in the championship but his style, attitude and personality is simply not good enough for the level above.

Many keep saying give him a chance he has had one with us earlier in the season and did very little, yes in games like Newcastle and to a lesser extent chelsea he did well. However he will not play like that on a consistent basis because he wants to be the centre of attention doing his tricks etc and he can't at this level.Please do not forget he also had several years at this level with Spurs and could not hack it

Add to that he fitness problems and the problems with his teammates and there is no chance of him playing for us again.

As I said last night, this is where you and others let yourself down, as you don't sign Luke Young, Barton, DJC, Ferdinand and Gabidon, if you want that, as they won't accept that happening. You decide what you want as you can't/won't have both.

So let me get this straight. It was wrong all along to bring in a player who scored 19 goals last season and brought off virtually as many assists. Who cares we are playing Manchester Utd today rather than Peterborough Utd, Adel is a sulk who we shd never have signed. And this shows that we should trust Adel-haters to write him off now. Hmm. With reasoning like that its amazing some on here aren't regulars on mastermind.


As for the point about him getting us promoted single-handed of course we needed at least 10 other players. But the point is you cd imagine another player who was gettable who cd have slotted into every other slot. Watson under Warno wd have worked in midfield for instance. Even if we had landed Warno's first choice keeper, Speroni, instead of Kenny I don't think it wd have changed the fact of our promotion. But who cd we poss have got for that kind of money that wd have torn other teams apart like Tabs did? No one that I can think of. Take his goals, his assists plus all the trippling up of defenders on him away from our team and we wdnt even have been in the play offs. And that really is a factomondo...

You saying the likes of Holt, Sinclair and Greame are better then Taarabt?

They have coped well but Adel has mentally had problems which I hope ate getting resolved
