  • What the f**k have we done to p**s the BBC off so much?

I am now convinced more than ever that the BBC have issues with us.

MOTD yet again billed us last and the coverage was a disgrace, even Alan Hanson was moaning about the game being shown last and there being no time to discuss it.

Having read the initial posts by fans on their way home from Anfield I feared the worse and didn't particulary want to watch it , but hey I'm a Ranger and what can you do?! You could not hear the Rangers fans at all and it made me question which of our fans went, having read the threads all week about how so many loyal fans missed out on this match, perhaps the rumours were true about tickets selling so fast to ST holders who only pick one or two away games per season and this was one of them. Went to bed really pissed off, sh*te match reviews on the boards, and sh*te coverage on the telly.

This morning I watched the Sky Match Choice coverage of the game and thought I was watching a different match. Rangers fans sang none stop and although we were played off the park first half, as with many matches this season, we raised our game second half and Bradley Orr would have equalised on another day. The coverage was good, balanced and unbiased.

The BBC could learn a thing or two from Sky, the MOTD coverage did not show our best periods of play, was completely one sided and the crowd mics turned down if not off. What pis*es me off even more is that we HAVE to pay for this cr*p.

Perhaps we are now paying for the constant abuse shown to Steve Claridge last season (although totally justifyable!)

    Rant over!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Not too dissapointed as all they would have been able to talk about would have been how Liverpool gaffered pretty much the entire game

Never watch MOTD when we lose,i cannot bear to see us lose and them pr###s pick the bones out of our display and how good our opposition is blah blah blah,i switch off and try to forget it happened, problem is as i only watch it when we win, will i get to see it again this season ????

I think any neutral would have found yesterday's game a stinker. Blimey, their fans seemed to doze through it so it was not scintillating. Match had it's rightful slot on MoTD in my view.

Re your comment on our fans, we had enough there but I think the fact that we were made to sit where allocated as oppose to all singers being together made a big difference.
I do agree though, was strange re the fans, I didn't recognise many people from LR let alone away games.
And so many people were wearing the 'tourist' scarves which show the game they were at (both teams colours etc) couldn't believe it.
I'm guessing it will be the same at OT and Emirates too (although I hope not)

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

3 weeks in a row we've been on last on MOTD. Obviously they're seeing what we're all seeing, but ultimately Warnock doesn't!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
