As they say in Scouseland ... Hey, calm down Lad, calm down! Wait 'til January and I think you'll find we'll be going up another notch in terms of quality. I'm more than happy with Neil in charge ... there is not a lot better.

And sing your 'earts out for the Lads
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

In comparison to AT Barton is a professional, and whether he has had a good game or a bad one I still feel he has but his nose to the grindstone for the team.
As for NW think hes unsackable ofcourse he doesnt, but i dont see how it would benefit any of us if he acted like he was in constant fear of being let go. I do feel his comments are a bit bizarre from time to time, maybe he doesnt want to open the door for the interviewer to focus on negative aspects of the game, I personally dont think he takes that demeanour into the dressing room after the game.

      Spot on. It´s mind games.

Exactly, its reverse psychology. Charm the interviewer with smiles and platitudes so that they then don't wish to ask more probing questions.

He'll be totally different in the dressing room and on the training ground though.

NW isn't stupid when it comes to media talk, he knows what he's doing.

We were awful yesterday, worst I've seen us play all season (apart from Bolton). If it wasn't for Cerny it could have been 6/7, Warnock needs to open his eyes and realise that was a completely 1 sided game yesterday.

We are 13th in the premier league ..if the league finished tomorrow then that would be considered an achievement.

one minute you are berateing him for bawling out faurlin the next you aren't happy that he doesn't criticise our players.

continuity....is what we need..we have a thin squad running on empty..and are more than holding our own..what did you expect..top 6!
Well said. It makes me extremely sad to read just how petulant and reactionary some of our fans are. We are second only to Spurs in that respect and they are the whingiest bunch of ***** in the league.

              We'll be alright.

Actually I'm getting sick of all this: 'Aren't they fantastic players' and 'my god they're a joy to watch' (when he talks about opposition household names).

All this 'I'm just really enjoying going to the likes of Anfield etc'

Well of course you are Neil but it ain't a Fkin holiday just to admire how the other teams are and saying we're lucky to be going to these places makes it sound like he didn't earn it.
Why can't he show some balls, take control of the changing room and compete because in some of the games it just ain't happening.

In warnock we trust, yes but for how long?

Do you honestly think that Warnock, a professional manager, former professional player, someone whose only career has been football, doesn't know that we played badly yesterday.

It's not Warnock who needs to open his eyes.

I enjoyed watching some of the football Liverpool played yesterday. Maxi, Suarez and Adam in particular. I'm just glad they didn't convert anymore of their chances.

I hope that one day we find a player as good as Suarez or Maxi. We don't have anyone even close at present.

And that there is exactly Neil's problem too atm, I really don't think he is watching enough of us, otherwise he would notice where we are going wrong and if he had balls do something about it.
Playing SWP in his correct position may help.

My question is, why revert back to the bloody 4-2-3-1 formation we seemed to be playing? When recently the 4-4-2 has worked so well for us?

When Taarabt was being picked, and it stood us so well winning the Championship last season, it seemed we HAD to play the 4-2-3-1 just to accomodate him? Unfortunately, it didn't work, so we changed and went 4-4-2 and instantly performances and results changed almost instantly? Does everyone agree?

I found myself yesterday, pondering some of Neils team selections? Why did Bothroyd play in such a deep lieing mid field role to start with? He was the only out and out striker in the team yesterday. The only player capable of holding the ball up for us up front, why play him so deep?

Wright-Philips was another one. Was he playing as a holding mid-field player yesterday? He did his 'best work' in our third of the pitch!

We offered so little yesterday going forward, until the last 10 mins. I for one would rather go down at Anfield fighting, than with a whimper. An entertaining 4-3 would give the players such a lift than having to defend with every player behind the ball for 80 mins, hang on for the 1-0, and then give it a go with 10 mins to go in the hope of getting an undeserving equaliser. Surely everyone thinks that too?

I myself, like all others on here can't wait for the January window to open and us to be busy in the transfer market. But the players we have at the moment SHOULD be good enough to do considerably better than the so called effort they are putting in at the moment.

I have been disappointed with Barton, SWP and Bothroyd so far, and my opinion after yesterdays performance hasn't changed my view on them either. Love Mackie to bits, his 100% wholehearted attitude and effort is something the other 3 could certainly learn something from, but like Smith, Gabbidon and Orr, just isn't good enough to cut it at this level.

Can't we get SWP flying down the right flank, Traore flying down the left flank (cos it's obvious he can't bloody defend for sh*t!). We missed Helgusson badly today, but him upfront with DJ I think may give us an extra dimension. Especially with the supply coming from the wings with these two.

Cerny was brilliant today, and how can he be dropped when Kenny is fit again? He can't really, it's only fair. Kenny will just have to bide his time and wait for his chance now, as Cerny has had to.

I didn't expect anything from Anfield, and 1-0 sounds not too bad a result away from home against a team that will finish in the top 6 of the Prem. But come on lads. We are capable of giving the top teams a game. Look how well we played against Man City at home? Lets play with some spirit in future. Come on Neil, be positive. Let's go for it!

Agree with everything you say Linc's,a massive pitch at Anfield would of been ideal for Traore and SWP yet Warnock opts not to use them, baffling.
As for 451 weve seen Bothroyd can't play the lone role so why bring it back?

I really hope i wont have to change it,really like and admire the guy,BUT as i said im nervous about him,he keeps playing players out of position, stubernly refuses to play our most talented player(and keeps excuses for it every week, injuries, lost pastposts ect),and has us playing some pretty negative stuff, then comes out with bizzare comments.Warnock with the players he has and the support he has from our new owner should keep us up comfortably, and if he fails he wont have any excuses.
