Doesn't help when your main forward a man of what 6 ft 4 cannot win a single header & stops the ball every time it comes to him rather than play quick passing moves.

Helguson would of one a good amount today against their back 4 I am absolutely certain of that. Mackie as much as I love his attitude & effort he is so out of his depth at times its untrue.

I'm praying DJ is match fit to start next week. Only forward with a bit of urgency in him today.

Very poor up front. And the midfield actually. Do any of them understand that you can play through balls and forward passes. All of them just know how to pass sideways. We are so predictable. Dj came on and made some decent runs but not once did anyone even attempt to slide him through. It's not good enough. We need a striker and a left winger in jan. I think dj will score goals if he's given the service.

Agree midfield was poor today but the point I'm making is the few times we got the ball forward we were clueless up front.

Very disappointing. Missed Helguson's strength & aerial ability badly.

Today showed that Smith and Mackie are not Prem class. Did either of them get a touch all game? Barton and Faurlin we know can play better. We need Traore on the left of midfield and Shaun WP on the right.

Bothroyd up front on his own is not the answer, not mobile enough also drops deep and pulls wide far too much for a lone striker. Unfortunately today we had no other options.

I have to say I think we got bullied out of things in midfield today, expected much more from Barton today.

Still, at least we battled hard for 90 minutes. I think our season will hinge on bringing in some more quality in January!

It's been obvious we need to strengthen up front all season and I'm sure we will in Jan. Good job Helguson has been performing miracles up to this point to be honest.

Up front I'd have Campbell and Helguson instead of bothroyd and whoever. That strike force would be deadly imo. If not then we definetely need to get Pavlechenko or someone else

Careful all - you'll be told we shouldn't have expected to get anything up there, let alone score anyway so a toothless attack is a non-issue!!

At least the defence only let in 1 goal! Result.

Trouble is every goal we concede is costing us points as we're not scoring at the other end.

Bothroyd was terrible and not really seen him have a great game since joining us

It is a joke how high he can jump and looks lazy when playing

Mackie just charges with the ball and does not do much with it past few games
