No, we shouldn't expect anything against Utd. If we get something it's a bonus, if we don't it doesn't automatically mean we are doomed to relegation.

The lesson surely is to keep level headed. The happy clappy brigade virtually thought we were going to qualify for Europe after Stoke and the wrist slitters seem to think we are relegated because we lost 1-0 at Liverpool. Both positions are ludicrous. We are a newly promoted poor to average Prem side who thanks to the board in Jan cd become an average one. There will be plenty more days like these.

I didn't expect anything at Liverpool (nor do I next weekend), just think if we went for it a bit more (like V City) we would have got a point against a below-par Liverpool. It won't be these games that define our season but as we;re making life hard by not winning against the likes of Norwich and WBA we need to go for it every week -as NW said we would. Didn't today.

Easier said than done away from home in front of the Kop but where you do have a point is Warno said we wd go for everything this season when in fact it looked as if we were just hanging around waiting for Liverpool to score for the first hour. Its a fine balance between keeping it tight and inviting the other team on. If we had been too expansive we might have been thumped 6-0 and then morale would have been shot and on MoTD they wd have been asking whether the wheels had come off Warno's bus and are we going down etc. But our attacking players (SWP excluded) needed to show themselves more today to give the other players an "out" ball.

We are a poor quality side in the prem fighting relegation.... but what did people expect?
If the board put their money where their mouth is in January we have a decent chance of staying up.....but they will have to spend big
