There's two main quotes from 'Arry about Pavlyuchenko that I've seen.

      One from 2 years ago:
'When you haven't got the ball, you have to work. There's nothing to stop him starting games if he comes in every day to work, train, shows a good attitude. 'I expect him to run around and work hard for the team. 'You can't have a couple not working. You have to put a shift in. I'm not talking just about Pavlyuchenko."

      One from 2 months ago:
‘He’s a fantastic striker of the ball,’ said Redknapp.
‘He’s got two great feet. Technically he’s a top, top player - there was never any doubt about that. It was good to see him score.’

So in his time at Spurs - "Can be a lazy sod. But a top, top player" is probably a fair summing up of how Harry sees him.

That's not to say he wouldn't have a better workrate/attitude at another club, under a different manager.
"Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.

I've seen him play at least 10 times and he's better than what we have. I suggest you learn to try and make your own decisions. Something you'll probably find you'll have to do as you grow up

              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Yes I am, I thought he looked lazy whenever I've seen him.
First I knew Harry agreed with me, was when I was looking for something to back that up.
And what evidence it is, a manager that says that and never picks him. I rest my case

But the issue isn't whether Redknapp thinks he's a bit lazy. He clearly does think that, or he'd pick him more. That's obvious.
                        And maybe he's right.

But what is equally clear is that he's a very, very talented player, and maybe the snipes and lack of faith from Redknapp haven't exactly helped RP with the urge to run through brick walls for his boss.
Sounds a bit like Berbatov to me. Similar thing with Fergie.

Pavlyuchenko clearly doesn't feel wanted by Harry, whatever he does.

One thing's for sure, he's offski from Spurs in january. Probably back to Spartak, so it's likely this is all pretty irrelevent anyway.

yeah, you're right. For some reason I always seem to think of him in a wide left position, bit like where Tarbs plays a lot. Obviously I don't watch Spurs often enough, or don't really care about them that much.
