There's two main quotes from 'Arry about Pavlyuchenko that I've seen.

One from 2 years ago:

One from 2 months ago:

So in his time at Spurs - "Can be a lazy sod. But a top, top player" is probably a fair summing up of how Harry sees him.

That's not to say he wouldn't have a better workrate/attitude at another club, under a different manager.

But the issue isn't whether Redknapp thinks he's a bit lazy. He clearly does think that, or he'd pick him more. That's obvious.
And maybe he's right.

But what is equally clear is that he's a very, very talented player, and maybe the snipes and lack of faith from Redknapp haven't exactly helped RP with the urge to run through brick walls for his boss.
Sounds a bit like Berbatov to me. Similar thing with Fergie.

Pavlyuchenko clearly doesn't feel wanted by Harry, whatever he does.

yeah, you're right. For some reason I always seem to think of him in a wide left position, bit like where Tarbs plays a lot. Obviously I don't watch Spurs often enough, or don't really care about them that much.
