when i was a young boy the king of loftus road was brilliant goal scoring winger mark lazaruas,he could score goals or create them he had some fantastic skills and his crossing of the ball techniques hit consistancy levels rarely seen in third division football
magical mark was an ex boxer and occaisoinally when the ref wasnt looking he would deal with a full back,the way only a cockney knew how
but 73 years old today born on december the fifth,he will always be rememberd for scoring the winning goal of our 100 000 capacity wembley final against high flying west brom

lazzer as we called him was a real superstar top division sides always watched him he was a brilliant winger,also he was a fantastic singer i remember one season when he scored three braces in the first seven games
he was so fast and tricky no defender could stop him i met him at mike keens funeral and he was really dapper dresssed and still had this fantastic personality,one of my wishes is that he could have a special testimonial match
and the procedes goes to mark and his beautiful mrs so they can go on a world tour

but it probabley wont happen or what about a testimonial that the procedes are shared between brian bedford and marky boy

im trying to remember if i can recall a mark lazarus header but i must admit i cant
maybe danny can remember him getting a headed goal i cant
