I was a tad peeved because I didn't bother becoming a member at start of season because it apparently gave no priority at all for away tickets - as far as i know this is the first time being a member (with no loyalty points) afforded access to scarce away tickets ahead of loyalty point holding non-members.
Of course it's worth getting a membership!! I think Wigan is the only game that has been general sale! I'm a member and have managed to get tickets for Everton, Wigan, Fulham, Spurs, Stoke and now Liverpool! I think the only game yet to reach members for away games is Wolves!

Are you sure? Here's list of members benefits:

All Members get the following benefits:
        - Ability to purchase tickets in the Upper Loft Members-only area
        - Access to the exclusive Members’ Presale for all home league matches
        - NEW - 20% off all Stadium Tours
        - NEW - Exclusive ‘Discount Days’ in the Club Superstore
        - 30 Loyalty Points
        - Automatically become a member of the OSC
        - Members-only Ezine
        - Special offers and presales throughout the season

Nowhere does it say anything about priority for away tickets. I thought away tickets were dished out based on loyalty points and NOT membership. I realise you get 30 loyalty points by getting membership but I still maintain membership itself does not bestow any advantage for priority for away tickets (or at least it never did prior to this morning's unusual terms where loyalty points were irrelevant).

Tickets have been released to STH's with 160+ points, then 140+, then 100+, followed by members with 30 loyalty points (all members) so technically they're sold to members on a membership basis not loyalty.

Fair do's then. Another example of club shooting itself in the foot over some simple admin; had they mentioned this as a membership benefit back in August I probably would have signed up (as I suspect many others would have done too). None of the published membership benefits actually benefitted me so it appeared pointless to join really.
