        thank god there are some other qpr fans who do know the rules, it was getting embarrassing that so many were going mental when long was getting the ball from goal kicks

          Upper loft was a joke at that point - so many people standing abusing the lino - wonder how many of these fans are the parents of kids who shout abuse at refs on Sunday mornings of their childrens game?

            Right decision or not surely it's better to have a hostile crowd to "help" the ref come to the "right" decision

                  I agree but being hostile and making the place feel a bit daunting for opposition players & officials is one thing I mean every 70 - 30 decision in favour of the opposition can be berrated by us;
                  but
                  shouting off & showing a basic lack of football knowledge is another - it was actually embarrassing sitting up there watching so many grown men show such little knowledge of football!

                    Regardless of this, we did not take our chances to get a comfortable win.

                      I'm surprised you don't see more teams exploiting fact you can't be offside from a goal-kick (or throw in) really. Although players must know this I think it kinda runs againts their "programmed thinking" to always push-up a leave attackers stranded ofside.
