  • Striker Striker Striker!!!!!!!!

Boy do we need a good finisher.

We had enough very good chances to kill off 3 games today.

Fair play to the lads for winning a valuable point but very disappointed in the end.

Got to say I think Jay was the weak link going forward for us today, no urgency & has a habit of slowing play down rather than keeping a move going at a quick pace.

Imho Taarabt should of been brought on, we keep hearing about him working his socks off in training so with a few WBA players on yellows why not bring him on to run at them? They would of either stood off of him or gone for him and possibly conceded fouls or better still cautions. He would of been absolutely chomping at the bit to get on today. Everyone wanted Buzz & he came on & done nothing & it was his mistake in losing possession that led to their goal.

Bad day at the office but could be a big point come May.

    Roll on Liverpool

    So who do we sign?

    Realistically I mean.

Talk of Defo is madness. £80k a week, high profile, international looking to get back in England squad.

I dunno who but agree need one!
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

      Sounds like Joey mate.

I agree very long shot but with the guys in charge & Defoe's situation I believe it can happen.

Team is crying out for DJ (box striker) when is he due back?

Defoe would be a dream come true. We would have won today plus against Villa and Newcastle with a striker of his quality. 9 points instead of 3 would have us in a very healthy position. That said with the time we had I think we made the best of the last minute negotiations.
I'm here for a long time, not a good time...

Totally agree about DJ. Was just gonna post that very question! A lot of talk about a new striker in January, but would a fit DJ have made a difference???

Paul I think he would of punished that lot today big time.

He's quick, sharp, shoots from different angles & is a constant menace & now we are actually getting quality balls into the box from the likes of Traore, Barton & SWP think he'd benefit us massively. Love Heidur, absolute work horse but obviously hasn't got the mobility or movement DJ has.

I think if DJ had played alongside HH today we'd have done better. I'm still of the belief that if we have Traore and SWP out wide, the supply of crosses into the box would be immense.

That's why I think SWP and Traore should be our wide men, not SWP on the left and Mackie on the right, as some believe.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I think we should go for Raul, I know he's like 100 but he gets the goals!
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Agree mate. Mackie would be a great impact sub but as you said swp in his correct position & Traore on the left would be class.

Just need to get a good LB in January now.

Just watching spurs fantastic play and Defoe scored inside the box right place right time.
                        Instinctive finisher!!

Agree with the signing of a left back. Then playing Traore and SWP as the wide men. But are we likely to lose Traore for all of January! So how do we counter that?
