Never forget that day for the following reasons ... on a coach from the Springbok pub parked unbelievably in amongst all the West Brom coaches and got involved in big bundle while out numbered ... had £100 on Rangers at 4/1 and £50 on Grittar to win the Grand National at 6/1 (a lot of dosh at the time) ... those were the days my friend

yes for many it was the biggest day of there qpr life me included,i have often spoke about the moment that clive allen scored as the best moment of my qpr life but also for fan amaze ment it w3as our greatest day our two biggest suppliers of hoolies ladbroke grove and northolt were both to supply record breaking numbers
ladbroke grove feilded an amazing three hundred,and because qpr had not been in the prem for a while the gooners were waiting on the station waiting to ambush qpr for fans but sadly for them they ambuished the ladbroke grove and got run all over the place
i was the founder of the northolt,i had been greenford but this was a chelsea stronghold,so i decided to formulate something called the big N which started out as 30 geezers.
But for the west brom game i couldnt beleive the turn out so i made them stand in a line and counted them
106 blokes were on that carriage all drunk and singing what a day it was,everywhere qpr fans were rioting,the west brom couldnt beleive what qpr fielded that day,and it was our second biggest ever tyurn out for hoolies the biggest ever was the 1982 fa cup final WOW WOW WOW

well back in the day vespa all us skins driving our lambrettas used to congregate at the shed end chelsea about 50 0f us were qpr fans about 300 were millwall sammy skies the leader of the spurs was the ace face he came from edgeware,but he cut a magnificent sight with his jungle greens and cherry red doctor martins
you must remember vespa that back in the day us skin heads had a very difficult job getting hold of our clobber
most of us couldnt afford ben shermans so had to make do with the brutus shirt
although the brutus shirt had some nice colours it looked chaep and nasty
in comparison to the ben sherman
but in 67 -68 the loft wasnt really much at all maybe about 50 geezers led by a stocky geezer from notting hill
but in 68-69 we recycled the chelsea songs and both us and millwall left the shed end and created our own ends theres was the cold blow lane end our was the loftus road end
which we called the loft ,on the first day of that season we had increased our number to three hundred
but out of that three hundred many wore skin head clothes and sang but
they were far from being combabtants indeed in those days most times two mobs met one lot simply run away
it became a game of dare to see who would run first,i cant remember one time in 69 that two mobs had a full on scrap
qpr often run away teams,but i remember nottingham forest run away from us and we chased them only to find it was a trap they suddenly stopped and
all started grinning so we all stopped and fled the opposite direction in fear
i think the film quadrophenia although it was about mods was very close to how it was being a skin in 69
but you must remeber vespa that chelseas imortal shed in that in 69 ruled not just london but the whole of england
were completely destroyed in 72 by the much more powrfull sueadheads
of east london you only had to shout west ham at the chelsea and they were terrified
so by 72 chelsea and skinheadism were no longer king
but little old rangers slowley got better and better and our performance in the 82 cup final is one reason why there is currently a peace treaty between qpr and totenham,and i also expect arsenal to come up with a simular peace treaty
