It really is amazing how many people pop up posting on boards about football violence and then say that they, of course, don't condone violence of any sort.....

    Hilarious........
A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

    "NUESTRA GLORIA, VUESTRO INFIERNO"

I guess you must be lucky that it has never existed in your experience of watching QPR or would prefer the matter swept under the carpet

Not sure what the "having kids" has to do with meeting a verbal with a slap, at a football match?

If you are getting verbals and you are with your kids - surely "giving a slap" is exposing them to the possibility of more danger than walking away? Don;t you want to just protect them from any possibility of danger?
But, as I say, I'm not sure what the kids thing has to do with anything anyway.

Perhaps I am indeed just confused and should give myself a slap!
Another man who has not got kids (that have been abused) whilst at a football match......
please post again when you know what the grown ups are talking about...

I am sorry, but obviously you didn't read my original post.

Yes I have been abused many times at matches and yes I have seen just as much abuse aimed at opposition fans from the R's faithful.

I just don't think that violence is is ever a proper response to this.

If you care to disagree then that is you right......

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

No need for this crap really on the boards, and no I don't vote LibDem......
I was opposite you in A block and it was exactly the same thing.

                Not on my watch!!

I would argue that the people not lowering themselves to fighting on the streets are the ones showing the pride.

It's all down to the upbringing as you say.

Don't get me wrong, there are times in life when violence is unavoidable. These are few and far between however and some uneducated, ignorant no-life shouting a few words at me isn't even close.

                Each to their own though.

Grasshopper - Physical violence to defend yourself or others should always be the last resort.

                  Just ask Kwai Chang Caine

Errr what exact point do you demand that I respond to H?

If I was to say that Blue and White Hoops are QPR`s colours then you and your fellow angels would find fault and say you preferred red

                        • anybody seen guy ritchies film revolver? some classic signs in this thread of peoples ego's dictating what they will say or do just to confront peoples opinions.

also, with the actual point. if anybody was to give me abuse, id ride it and leave it be.. but if it was towards my family, well then thats a different matter all together

I'd have agreed with that up until we went to Chelsea in the league cup where I was punched in the back of the head when leaving the game and no I wasn't giving it the billy big ******. I retaliated as u do and almost got arrested. My kids weren't at that game but I take them most games so am always aware that some **** could start something without me looking for a fight.

                            • well

well if you go on the dot orgs site you will never see anything about football violence, they seem to think its a good thing to just prentand it dosnt exist
im sure isleworth has no desire at all to create anything that would bring more violence into the game,he simply has created a thread that will bring a bit of conjecture onto the web site

Correct each to their own. A bit of colourful banter / abuse thrown about at football is by the by.. But when someone wants to personally call me a c@nt or that he'll 'see me outside' then I will be more than happy to oblige.

Short story for you, at school, about 11-12 years old I was a bit of a geek, not brainy but a bit of an inbetweener, a big f#cker always used to give me hassle, pushing me, hitting me, tripping me up, I told my dad & as much as I could see he didn't want to say it he said the immortal words 'next time he touches you make sure he knows it comes at a cost' few days later in the canteen he knocks my carton of milk out of my hand onto the floor. We both had metal work next lesson. We were making a file so I put mine in a vice & filed filed filed it until it was red hot & proceeded to walk up behind him & pushed it against his neck which obviously caused a bit of a scene. Yes I got in trouble but I never had that pr!ck come near me again & as life went on my form of defence was attack. I'm not a geek anymore & I'm a big boy now so resolve problems quickly.

                                Did you enjoy that lullaby

All jokes aside though its not a I'm bigger than you thread its more the fact If someone wants to give it the big one be prepared for a healthy amount of people in society to take you up on your offer. If you don't want the grief keep your trap shut.

If you walk away & are happy with that fair play but personally I'd get more satisfaction out of knowing the other person won't be to quick in repeating his actions.
