    Great goal today after five for the reserves. Can't see 'arry letting him go. At the moment think Zamora is as good a player as I can realistically see us signing (not Defoe but still a v gd player). Personally tho' if Defoe is out of the question I'd prefer Pavylechenko as think more of an all-round player and a better scoring rate (I'm guessing).

    Unless Spurs can find a player who is significantly better than Jermain Defoe, I can't see him moving anywhere.

    Defoe is having a very good season for Tottenham, despite his limited playing time...



    ...and he's averaging a vital goal contribution for every 78 minutes he's been on the pitch for.

    That's not much short of Emmanuel Adebayor's performance this season.

        Aparently,Defoe has asked to go out on loan to keep his England chances warm,and heading the queue are Everton followed by us and a host of other Prem clubs.

          More likely to sign Pavlyachenko (sp?) I would have thought and that's unlikely too.
