Anybody know what the financial situation is with the club regarding debt?
I seem to remember it being said at the time of the takeover that the pre-existing ABC loans were cleared at the time of the takeover, but haven't seen published figures relating to it.
Is the money being currently spent coming out of Tony Fernandes personal fortune or being charged as a debt against the club? If the latter, I would be worried.

Im sure Amit said the club is effectively debt free now they have taken over.

Vice-chairman Amit Bhatia insists QPR could cope financially were they to be relegated and describes the club as "debt-free".

Is encouraging reading such reassuring comments from Amit... and even better being able to believe him!

              Yes he did 100%

Stated that the club was now completely debt free which must be a first for a Premiership club

Slightly outdated now, but quite an intersting little read on premier league club's debts.

The Premier League clubs collectively lost close to half a billion pounds in 2009-10 but how in debt are they? Find their income and expenditure by club

I think thats a tad harsh mate. At the time the realationship between board and fanbase was at a all time low. I think it was quite understanable that some fans should question tony,s take over! As it turns out the guy seems a fantastic chairman, but we should keep a relaxed eye on any boards statements that dont make sense to us!

Not sure why you feel the post was harsh as its pretty factual and many shouted loudly that they did not want or trust Fernandes which is on record

I really hope this honeymoon period lasts for years but one day I am sure his head will be called for one day just the same as most other Premier Chairman at every club

And he took time out to briefly respond.

What a classy guy this man is it's easy to see why he has done so well for himself from a PR perspective you just cant fault the guy.

How many other Chairman would bother to take time out, listen to the fans and get back to them?

I'm sure everyone on WATRB's also wish TF all the best for the future.
Lovely bit of self promotion for your posh beds site, Funky.

TF tends to respond to everything on social networking sites, which I personally think is great.
A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

                            "NUESTRA GLORIA, VUESTRO INFIERNO"

Go on then I have got to ask but what is meant by a posh beds site?

I have never heard that phrase before but then again I have led a sheltered life
