Now in the past I would have said "that's the end of that then". But do you know what? If Neil wants him he will still get him. (Providing the player wants a move to the "bright lights and big city", away from his Mum!)

Anyway the player is (as I'm sure most of you will have guessed) Onuoha.

Could be a problem in getting him to move south though cos of his mother!

I thought he didnt want to leave Citeh because he fancied his chances of breaking into first team?

Agree oldhoop his mother is ill,and I'm wondering if that's why Bolton have
joined the race, because I too think if Neil wants him we can beat all those others mentioned.

Yep and Bolton will be looking for a replacement for Cahill when he goes to Arsenal, Spurs or Chelski!

I reckon Cahill's stock has dropped since Transfer deadline day. Why ?

                      1) A couple of decidedly averages games for England
                      2) Bolton having conceeded the most goals (29) in Premiership so far.

Which means Spuds, Chelski & @rsenal may well be looking elsewhere (Samba at Blackburn ? Jagielka at Everton ?)

Of course it could also mean they get him cheaper......

Agree. Beast of a defender and a huge threat at corners too. But fear he will go to a top six club.

Wrong mate. As Ric said, he'll go to Liverpool!
