If you dont agree to agree to disagree, does that mean you agree....
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

      2015/2016, average at best.....

      2016/2017, same old, same old....

      2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Think people are focusing on the fee too much - yes it was way over the top but we wouldn't have to pay any of that. For £35m you should expect a young torres or drogba and he was never that, but if we can't land bent or johnson or whoever we are aiming for on a perm in jan, you cd do a lot, lot worse. Put it this way, anyone from about Villa downwards wd be hugely strengthened by adding him to their squad.

Thought it might have been Carol Vorderman to help Gianni with maths when it comes to transfer fees but since he is gone my theory is wrong.

People are so dumb to talk about how he wasnt that good in the championship, he was 20 years old at the time. His body type and playing style doesnt usually see its best until late 20s but apparently spurs scouts think he reached his peak at 20.

Last season he showed with Newcastle that he is one of the best strikers in the Prem in the air and he also has an absolute rocket of a left foot. The problem is his energy levels seem way too low and he needs to work in his overall fitness.

Gotta say wasn't that impressed with him when he was at the toon.
Scored a few if I remember in the champs but still just struck me as a big lump
                      who could out muscle defenders.

On your first point, so what if he was 20?? If as good as he's supposed to be then he'd have done better in the runaway team in the division. As for his body type and playing style... well it's big lump and put it about a bit (so to speak)... was then and is now.
