Agree to disagree eh?
I'd take him though

Fact is, and this really isn't just opinion, Rio is better than Bassong. I'd wager money that 'Arry sees it the same as well.Your mum would love me...

Some of my best memories of decent football from the Rangers have been the times when we've had a few so called "past it" players in our team, for example, Ray Wilkins (before he was manager of course!).
We are never, as long as we've got a hole in our &rse, going to attract the likes of Rio Ferdinand in his prime. We are a club that for the most part is going to have to rely on "scraps" for a while yet..... just like we used to last time we were in the top flight.
Then again - we have a history of making some lovely dishes out of those scraps (of course we've made some crappy ones too.....)

It's interesting that some people are wanting us to sign a player that would be pushing 34 when he comes, a long history of injuries, lost pace, on seriously high wages, and his best days behind him. We would be buying a reputation rather than potential.
Is that the kind of player we want to sign to take us to the next level?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Would rip Fergie's hand off to take Rio............
.......providing his fitness is up to it.
Don't need another high paid Dyer if he is gonna spend more time injured than playing.
This would be one signing when we need to be 100% he is actually fit enough.
As for quality, his record says it all.
