Jeffro,
In this world of social media, everyone has an opinion.
Certain people will find reasons to explain why someone may have a different opinion from themselves. They will use illogical reasons because ego tells them they are right, instead of looking at the bigger picture, that the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
Just because I was Pro paladini does not mean he used this site, he didn't need to.
My opinions were mine shared by many, but they never wanted to get embroiled in slanging matches over the internet. Of course it can be counter acted by saying many disagreed, but in any walks of life the more people those that disagree with a topic or issue, tend to be the loudest heard
Reality is Dave Mcintyre is no more opinionated than you and I. Personally, I feel many supporters wanted this site to fail, reality it didn't. Wouldn't matter who is in charge at boardroom level. The people connected with this site have worked hard both here and behind the scenes to make it all work. You even get the most critical posting on it, so it cannot be that bad.
All votes carried on this board in the past have strongly indicated this forum was indeed not Pro Paladini, so it was hardly a mouthpiece for anyone. Just, because I was a staunch defender, does not make me more or less a supporter than anyone else, though more than once that has been questioned.
In fact, if we got relegated this season, the whole cycle of defending the current board by me would probably start all over again.
Its now a new era and lets hope we can sustain premiership football and more importantly now have some unity amongst the fan-base.
