This morning on SSN they showed the grounds that were hosting the tournament, I cannot believe how small they are except for the one hosting the final!!! the majority of grounds only seem to hold a capacity in the low 40.000s in one case even below that. With all the corporate tickets that UEFA will dish out barely any real fans will get a ticket.

'Ross kemp on gangs' did one on polish footie, and their fans traditionally kick off at every league game, no proper segregation, and the riot police go in with batons every game too. Some of their towns are absolute ghettos, and that's their entertainment.

I remember the last one. Austria and Switzerland had similar small sized grounds as well.

True..but the were 10s of thousands of England fans missing, uefa and FIFA both know that if England don't qualify they lose millions.

Add to England fans turning up in their thousands, the Irish will be there in the same or greater numbers as well.

Poland one of the few nations in the world where somebody is of irish ancestry. So don't expect that many like if it were in an ex colony. The country itself is getting better slowly tbh. 5 years ago was pig*hit. Now it looks a reasonably sexy normal country. Well the West of the country that is. Either way if you are looking for a fight and hookers poland will be right up your street.

id doubt england will take more than 5k fans due to logistics and the threat of a good kicking by some ivan drago looking ##### in a moody leather coat!

I applied and got tickets for all England games prior to them qualifying.

Still not decided whether I'm lucky or a mug (having travelled to SA to see the world cup debacle)

Mate I don't know whether to bother going or not , went to Germany for last world cup and went to previous euros aswel back in Belgium (when we beat germany), lots of money time and disappointment , may change my mind nearer rhe time but had a chance to go last world cup but cldnt be bothered ( good thing too) idea of going to that part of Europe really doesn't appeal and I admire anyone who is going
