Mail says Warno has a £10-15m war-chest. Insider saying we are going for three Spurs players for a combined £15m as well as Maynard, Onouha and a Championship winger, which would mean a total spend of £22/25m.

I just can't see even Tony and Amit spending the second amount. With all those deadline day signings how much did we actually spend? I'd love to know the figure but I bet it was nothing like that (tho' wages I know were high).

I'm not saying that Insider is necessarily making it up. My hunch is the players he mentioned are in our long list/ wish list but in reality we might get a couple of those players and the rest will be cheaper make-weights. Love to be proved wrong of course...

warnock needs to buy to improve the starting XI.. not the squad. ala jason puncheon - who doesn't seem to add anything to the squad.
