Must be frustrated watching that England performance. Zamora plenty of hustle and bustle but no real goal threat. Sturidge was everywhere except the danger area and kept passing backwards to defenders. Bent came on too late to judge really but didn't pull up any trees. If Defore is scoring every 75 mins in the Prem he should be starting - wonder if he is getting a bit frustrated on the Spurs bench...?

Agree. Wouldn't be too sniffy about Zamora if he turned up at our place but don't think he's got the goals in him to lead the line for England, particularly if playing alone up front.

Seeing as it was the second match in a few days they should have played it up north, as our Joey suggested. Not much happens up there and those northern monkeys would have been delighted and turned out in their thousands.
