  • Madge can stand up to Favio

I think Jim may be the man to deal with Flavio's interfeering if the following quote from him is accurate:

"If you have bought a football club I think you have earned the right to have an opinion. I value people's opinions and I value the opinions of everyone at the club - but in the end they'll agree that I'm right!"

    sounds a little Clough-esque, dare i say. ;)

    Where's that quote from?

Dowie thought he could tame the beast as did Sousa. Jim's test will come with his first clash with the Flab, which is usually a humiliating defeat in front of Flab and Bernie's 'friends' and / or the TV Cameras.

Apparently the board were leaving management to JG and yet Delaney (a target of Magilton's at Ipswich last season), Camp (a perfectly adequate no. 2 if not no.1) AND now Blackstock (the best GOALSCORER we currently have) have already gone. Time to assess the squad, my ####, Flab and his cronies want to offload someone they will. So, just how much control has puppet Jim got?

A matter of time before this one comes to a head too IMO...

I would assume that JM and JG had us watched when they were at Ipswich, plus have seen videos and also spoken to people at the club about last season. Anyone who went to matches last season would not have many problems with Camp or Delaney going as they underperformed last season. Dex has not definately gone, but again he was not on fire last season and is not the type of forward we need to play the football JM and JG want. So no big problems from me on what has happened so far.
