IMO, those 3 Spurs players would be a very wise spend of £15mill. As previous posters have said, Defoe has got to be worth £10mill alone surely? Natural proven PL goalscorer. Then, in theory, a combined £5mill for Bassong (a very good 25 year old CB) and Krancjar (IMO a quality player- reminds me of a rich mans Buzz)? Great deal.

Maynard is a cracking player and I think if we could pick him up for the mentioned £3.5mill.... we should. 24 year old English striker with an eye for goal. Yes PL is a step up but surely worth giving him a shot? That goal at Loftus Road the other year was different gravy!

Onouha: Would be a superb buy, personally think £3mill on him would be great value for money.

As for the winger; who knows but I hope its not Punch. I know he hasnt had too much of a fair crack to judge, but he hasnt really shown too much promise.

Anyway, just my thoughts on the players mentioned but, (no disrespect insider), I cant imagine there is too much more than just hear say and names we are interested in rather than them actually being deals set in motion, after all it is only November!

Matty no one can deny the 3 Spurs players are quality and could raise the prospects of the club ,now here's the but at, this stagee of their career's they wont have any sell on value to us ,to me that makes 15 mil a bit on the high side they probably each have 3 years max left ,T F wont be able to keep funding the club every trasfere window personly I think we should only go one of these players and in my book I plumb for Defoe ,our m/field is good enough for the rest of season and I think we could get somebody cheaper than 5 mil for our defence , as for Maynard and onoura imo they could be the future of the club there for they make sense

In a 4-4-2, I cant see where Krancjar would play, unless people would be pleased to see Faurlin on the bench. Yes he could play on the right or left wing, but why would you do that. In a 4-2-3-1, he would be perfect playing the role behind the striker though.
