  • worst game ever

I presume this thread has been done bfore but was is everyone's worst game ever attended? I'm sure we all have lots of contenders!!

For the record mine was the Oxford Milk Cup debacle, Doncaster away in the 3rd round of the FA cup, Sheffield Wednesday in the Milk Cup and a couple of crappy nights in Watford and Luton.

The most disappointing let down for me was the Milk Cup Final. QPR should have easily beat Oxford, but the players froze and were humiliated.

Also the embarrassing loss at Partizan Belgrade where QPR lost a 4 goal 1st leg lead.
Then there is the shame of losing to a works team on penalties Vauxhall 'bleeding' Motors.

Stockport away 1989 0-0 on a Monday night, forest away 1986 0-4 and freezing, the milk cup final, hard to single any 1 game out as we've had so many down the years.

2 x games V Southend a few years ago - one in the LDV (4-0?) and a 5-0 in the league. As a Southend Local both horrendous nights.

Absolutely loads unfortunately, but recently Ipswich at home a two nil reverse absolutely garbage on the pitch, and plenty of home fans fighting and arguing with each other.

1979 was diabolical on all fronts but losing to Fulham 0-2 (who were a division or two below us then) at cottage in FA Cup was the absolute pits.

been loads of absolutely rubbish games
a recent one - Watford last year was bad - midweek, december, cold, TV cameras, unbeaten, lost 3-1.
couple of years back leeds away - 6-1?
